Young adults living in Arvada, Colorado and urban America often find themselves overwhelmed by the intricacies of modern life, including fast-paced lifestyles, shifting political landscapes, anxieties about the future, and limited career opportunities.
Unlike working with a life coach, Life Transitions counseling will help you identify your emotional blocks that inhibit the quality of your day-to-day functioning and creativity, and that in general, keep you stuck in unproductive patterns.
Coming to terms with childhood neglect or emotional/physical abuse is difficult no matter the circumstances. However, with my help, you can learn to process your past and free yourself from the tyranny of guilt, shame, and doubt, and reclaim your life with greater autonomy and confidence.
Being raised within a traditional male environment and the rapidly changing dynamics of what it means to be a man in today’s society can ultimately compromise one’s mental health, personal relationships, and career success.
It is possible to heal the emotional blocks that have kept you bound to your history of trauma and abuse, and to develop effective boundaries, build your confidence, and identify your unique strengths and gifts to help you create the life you deserve.
There have been innumerable news stories about the horrific sexual abuse crimes against children by clergy and/or faith ministers. Unfortunately, attention to sexual misconduct of adult victims by clergy/faith ministers has been negligible, ignored or dismissed as false claims, thus comprehensive research into the psychological impact of clergy/faith minister abuse on adult victims, and how it differs from other types of sexual abuse, has been obstructed and/or considered inconsequential.
My work is characterized by intuition, compassion, optimism and collaboration. We are all capable of healing our emotional woundings with the support of a committed professional.
